The Municipal Government of Bunawan, Agusan del Sur through its Chief Executive, Honorable Mayor Edwin “Cox” Elorde officially handed-over to the DENR Secretary, Ramon J.P. Paje, the Certificate from the Guinness World Records confirming “Lolong” as the world’s largest living crocodile in captivity. The official turn-over took place on 30 July 2012 at the Tamaraw Hall, Bulwagan Ninoy, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center.
