PHYSICAL FEATURES    
Has 16 major rivers providing potable water to 15 of the 37 municipalities and cities of Camarines Sur, and irrigation water to some 67,400 hectares of rice land.

An inactive volcano and a dominant terrain in Camarines Sur, rising 1,966 meters above sea level; crater has a depth of approximately 1,000 m.

Has rainfall distributed throughout the year and which get stronger from November to January; in some parts, the dry season is from November to April.

Hottest temperature recorded was 33.6º C in May, the coldest was 20.8ºC in February
