The aquatic vegetation includes Nypa fruticans, mangrove species
and Ipomoea reptans. Plant communities in adjacent areas include
Pandanus
sp and plantations of coconuts. |

garzetta, Mesophoyx intermedia, Casmerodius albus, Bubulcus ibis,
Ixobrychus sinensis, Ixobrychus eurhythmus, Ixobrychus cinnamomeus,
Gallicrex cinerea, Rostratula benghalensis, Pluvialis fulva, Charadrius
dubius, Charadrius mongolus, Numenius phaeopus, Tringa cinerea

3,000-5,000 ducks have been recorded
in November, mostly Dendrocyqna sp and Anas luzonica.
Up to 3,000 other waterfowls have been observed. |

hunting and extensive use of pesticides by the rice farmers. Ducks
